Throughout the month we will be posting some educational resources as well as several events that will either help to raise awareness or help fund the fight! Please use these resources to educate yourself and become a safe place within your own circle of influence!

In a 2024 five-year average, South Dakota was ranked 9th in the nation in active human trafficking cases! WE HAVE A PROBLEM!

Human trafficking exists in every state, and SD is frequently identified in regional, multi-state investigations.

So many lives have been changed because someone took time to notice and reach out. Save the number you see here in your phone and share it when you see someone that you think might need to make that life-saving phone call.

This number works for the Black Hills and surrounding areas. If you are not local to Western SD or Eastern WY, we encourage you to seek out the number for anti-trafficking organizations in your neck of the woods and save their number in your phone. Sometimes all it takes is being armed with the right information. Having a phone number to pass on for people to call or text when they need help is a huge step in the right direction and takes major ground in the fight to end human trafficking.
