Despite rising property taxes, the Township consistently fails to deliver timely municipal budgets and legally required audits. This lack of transparency and accountability undermines public trust and raises serious concerns about how taxpayer dollars are being spent.
Key issues include:
- Delayed budgets and missing audits
- Rising taxes without proof of performance
- Audits withheld until after elections
- Council’s failure to investigate root causes
The cost of inefficiency has become one of the most expensive aspects of living in Bridgewater. Residents deserve a Council that prioritizes fiscal stewardship, transparency, and timely oversight, not one that hides behind election-year politics. Demand transparency, accountability, and an end to the Bridgewater Tax Trap.
