The hardest part of dinner wasn’t cooking…it was deciding it.
For the longest time, I thought people who always had healthy meals every night really were just more on top of things than I was.
Every day around 4:30pm, dinner would sneak up on me and I’d start scrambling.
What can we make? Do we have enough? Do we need to go to the store?
After a full day of work, it felt like the same exhausting mental loop EVERY👏SINGLE👏NIGHT.
Turns out I just needed a system. A way to plan our meals for the week ahead of time & have a stocked fridge ready to go.
That one routine changed everything for me.
Dinner isn’t something I stress about anymore because the decisions are already made. We eat healthy(ish) homemade meals, waste less food, and weeknights just feel so much easier!!!
The biggest difference isn’t what I cook. It’s how much mental space I get back. And for a busy mom, that’s a lot 🫶
If you’ve ever stood in front of the fridge hoping dinner ideas appear, save this for later 🖤
