UPDATE: No popup this week. We are going to visit Woodfest in Tokeland on Saturday. I'll have a bag of free minis and some other toys for sale. Still looking to popup not Saturday.

I'm on the brink of a meltdown! The Raymond Saturday Market has been axed for the rest of the summer. Now I'm on the hunt for a new spot to showcase my toys. I'll be sure to share updates.

Guest Editorial: Grayland focuses on summer event
By Carolyn Barker

Having lived on the South Beach for 30 plus years, I have come to appreciate the many avenues of interest that various organizations have developed. These activities are not only for their personal entertainment, but also create revenue to support the tourism industry and provide community wide growth. From gardening tips and sales, to seafood sampling, from art walks, to beach themed bazaars, wild wave running, kiddy parades and ol’ fashioned fun with vendors for the 4th of July, the pirate invasion for a weekend of skullduggery, to filling the sky with colorful kites, visits from Santa and music fests to celebrate the yuletide season.

And with just a few seconds of audio, they can create a replica so convincing that even close family members can't tell the difference.

Tsunami advisory issued for Pacific County after major quake
By Karen S. Carter, [email protected]

Coastal residents of Pacific County were placed under a tsunami advisory last week following a powerful earthquake in the Pacific Ocean off the Russian coast. The advisory, which was in effect for more than 16 hours, urged people to stay away from the shoreline and out of the water due to the potential for dangerous currents.
