Busy weekend of shoots starts now!

Tonight: 5 camera shoot at The Rex in Manchester for another Tom DiMenna: Story Songs of the 70s concert.

Tomorrow: 2 dance shows down in Tewksbury, MA followed by 2 more at the Dana Center at St. A's on Sunday.

Must be graduation season.

I've got just enough room to shoot under the top of the EZ Up (camera is sitting on a riser). Sun is shining now but I know if we take the EZ Up down then it will rain.

Recording Piano Men at The Palace tonight. It's a great show if you ever get a chance to see it.

Doing another video shoot for Tom DiMenna 's "Story Songs" Gordon Lightfoot Tribute.

Running 6 cameras and relatively easy multitrack recording (only 6 channels instead of the usual 12-16 required for full bands,).

We'll also be recording his show at the Capital Center for the Arts in Concord next month.

If you're a fan of Lightfoot, Cat Stevens, and other acoustic artists of the 70s, seeing Tom at one of his shows should be at the top of your list.

It's definitely Thanksgiving weekend, and Christmas themed productions are in full swing. Last night was recording A Christmas Carol at The Palace Theatre. Tonight and tomorrow we are recording the New England Dance Ensemble's production of The Nutcracker (with live music provided by the NH Philharmonic Orchestra).

We will be recording similar productions every weekend throughout December.

Getting ready to record Looks That Kill (Motley Crue tribute) show at The Vault in New Bedford.

We are using 6 cameras and full multitrack audio recording.

Should be a fun show.

Saturday night concert shoot at The Workman's Club on Manchester's West Side for the scholarship benefit "Greg's Songs".

Running 10 tracks of audio into my trusty Zoom L-20R, plus a backup of the full house mix into my Tascam DR40.

For video, running two GoPros on/near the stage and a wide and CU camera from the balcony.

Should be a great night. Lots of sound mixing and video editing to do down the line....
