Per my previous post, to help prepare for surgery and recovery, I’m opening the shoppe one last time for a Bake Sale & Inventory Fundraiser before surgery.

I wanted to share this post ahead of time to hopefully answer some common questions!

As many of you know, I recently made the difficult decision to pause Kookie Dealer Shoppe while I focus on my health.

Earlier this year, after years of unexplained symptoms, I was diagnosed with deep infiltrating endometriosis and adenomyosis—two chronic diseases that can cause severe pain, inflammation, scarring, heavy bleeding, fatigue, and other symptoms that significantly affect daily life.

For me, they cause debilitating pain, hormonal issues, severe fatigue, brain fog, and many other symptoms. I often experience numbness and loss of sensation in my legs, and there are days when sitting, standing, or walking is difficult. At times, I need a mobility aid to help me get around.

I’m now preparing for a major multidisciplinary surgery and a lengthy recovery. This surgery offers me the best chance at reducing my pain and reclaiming my quality of life.

Before I start preparing for surgery, I’m opening the shoppe one last time to clear out my baking inventory and share a few treats!

Whether you’re getting ready for back-to-school, stocking your business, or just craving something sweet, there’s something for everybody!

Join us on Sunday, August 2, from 2:00–5:00 PM in Lexington, South Carolina.

Every purchase will go directly toward helping offset my surgery and recovery expenses.
