“I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.” -JRR Tolkien

I absolutely love these new items kindly sent to me by Dreki Megin and figured I would show them off a bit more. The details on these are next level.

Also, I love the “bright fantasy” style aura this filter is giving.

.of.coslore inspired me with her original video, and I thought I’d join in the fun! What did you want to be
when you grew up?

Fun fact, my real job is in there somewhere, can you guess what it is?

Happy WeWa The Weekend Warrior Experience Wednesday! As WeWa: Hearthlands is just about 3 months away, I am going to start posting every (if not most) Wednesday leading up to the event. To kick us off, let’s finish Bregnor’s journey through 5 years of events with last year’s tale.

In YL 1125 (2025), the Hearthlands held another gathering to determine how they would conquer this otherworldly Scourge. Reports of dark beings throughout the lands had run rampant, coupled with reports of growing Golthan power and Ranger incursions into our borders.

Bregnor himself had furiously studied the strange Thrasian coins that had appeared in the past year, with inquiries sent out to Oxfirith in Olaran as well as lands beyond. With the help of his newly appointed Magnates of the Treasury to assist with each Jarldom’s financial growth and management, he pulled on every potential thread on what these coins could be, even discovering other time-lost currencies along the way. But he could not shake the feeling that something was working against him.

In the midst of this he was graciously promoted to the position of Fänrik by his Jarl Tagelia, taking on command of leading not only the Blodgevir (whose leadership he passed to his trusted friend Uhtred) but also the Nighthawks. Together they trained fiercely during the Moot, and together they stood resolute against the Scourge and Thrasian cultists that sought to end their fledging nation in the depths of night; standing, falling, and still rejecting death in the face of the nightmare.

Though the threat of the Scourge was abated, the threat to the Hearthlands was not. Bregnor’s research proved his worst fear of the Thrasian coins: they were a tool of the Cultists. A strange form of hardened quicksilver, these coins had passed through hundreds of years leaving sickness and death in their wake. Even worse, they had been distributed by one of his own: Bregnor’s own Magnate of the Fire Mountains had conned his way into the position and used his influence to spread the will of the Cult, addling Bregnor’s mind with foul potions brought in a friend’s mug.

Bregnor sorrowfully stood before the Queen and her Jarls and helped name his friend a traitor, and watched as they carted him away to be imprisoned, and hopefully helped. However, the dark Moot ended with joy as the leader of the Golthan militia asked for the hand of the Jarl Tagelia, to mend ancient rivalries between the peoples.

While the darkness has passed and joy is on the horizon, another old enemy continues to poke at the borders between the Hearthlands and Olaran.

Sadly, I will not be able to attend the Fall Faire to host the Redhorn Arena due to the dates conflicting with my events. But I urge you to attend, support, and have a blast!

The Redhorn Arena will be returning in the spring!
