Sometimes I get things wrong. Sometimes it's a minor detail. Sometimes my notes fail me completely and I botch it badly. This is one of those latter times. My (Jason Collum, publisher) apologies on this. Information in today's Red Bay News regarding work to fix the drainage ditch on 10th Avenue had both the contractor and the cost of the project wrong.

Here is what the caption should have read: Crews with B&C Dirtwork continued to work in the intermittent rain Tuesday to complete work on major repairs to a section of 10th Avenue in the city. Torrential rains had continued to rip out the ditch, leading the city to move forward with emergency repairs. The project's repair costs were $68,800. That section of roadway has been closed for the past couple of weeks as work progressed, but should reopen completely to daytime traffic in the next few days.
