Good news for your Saturday afternoon travels: We have an 'All Clear' on US 287. CDOT reports that the roadway has fully reopened in both directions between Ted’s Place and Laporte. That earlier crash near Mile Point 355 has been cleared, so the detour through County Road 54G is no longer necessary. Traffic is starting to flow normally again, but expect some residual sluggishness as the backlog clears out. You're good to go on 287!"

As of 10:14am 24 Jan CDOT posted the following for the 285 - Checking the roads now—if you’re heading south from the Poudre Canyon or Wyoming, you’re going to hit a wall in Laporte.
CDOT has confirmed that Southbound US 287 is fully closed from CO 14 down to County Road 54G. We’re looking at a crash site between mile points 355 and 354 that has traffic at a standstill.
The Workaround: Your best bet is to exit onto County Road 54G and take that through the center of Laporte to bypass the scene. However, expect that detour to be sluggish as everyone else makes the same move. If you haven't reached Ted's Place yet, you might want to consider swinging over to I-25 to save some time.
