Took Kayden to HOT for practice a few weeks ago to test out the new carb from JDR Performance. This is the second carburetor we have purchased from them and can’t say enough great things about this company. They were highly recommended to us by Dean Abbey two years ago when Kayden ran her SportMod with the 602 Crate. If your interested, give them a call or message on messenger. What a way to finish off the 2024 race season! Took Kayden and the Mod to HOT for their Annual Fall Classic show just to get her some more experience and seat time in the car. We weren't expecting her to go out and beat everyone there or anything like that, but boy did she make us proud. She drove that car as if she was a seasoned pro, alongside some of the best in Texas! She started Pole and finished 12th overall. Even though she knows her motor is no where near compatible to theirs, she fought hard and never gave up. She's happy with how the weekend went as are we. There's still some changes that needs to be done to the car to make it even better for her, so those will get done over the next few months in the off season. With that being said we would like to express our deepest gratitude to Kenneth Drake for all of his time he has spent helping us get the car dialed in over these past few weeks. We could not have made it this far without you sir!

Weather was definitely a concern for the races this past weekend at RPM Speedway. Luckily our angels were looking out for us and pushed the rain away so Kayden could race. This was the first time for her running topless in any race car and was very nervous about it. She didn't make it to the A Main, but she gave it her all. I am so proud of how far she has come in just a short amount of time. I believe this was her 7th race ever in the Mod. I made a lot of changes to the car trying to make it better for her and learned what she likes and doesn't for future races. I can't thank Kenneth Drake enough for his knowledge and time he spends answering all of my questions about her car.

Another great weekend of racing at RPM Speedway in the books. The adjustments I made during the week made the car much better but there's still some more to be made. She definitely was a lot happier with the most recent changes so that's a win in my book. I would like to personally thank Kenneth Drake for his assistance in helping to accomplish these changes.

Saturday night we had a huge surprise from one of the most favored drivers in the sport of dirt track racing. Mr Jason Ingalls took the time to come over to our pit to introduce himself to Kayden. He gave her lots of praise, encouragement and words of wisdom. He did advise me to make some changes to the car that would help her driving in the future. I cannot express enough how much that meant to her and myself. Although she will never admit to it, but she was absolutely starstruck by this and talked about it most of the night.

Here is Kayden's race from last weekend at RPM. I apologize for it taking so long to get it put up as my job keeps me pretty busy lately and in the off time I was working on the car trying to make it better for her.

Didn't have the night we would have liked to, but all in all Kayden did amazing!! She started 11th in the Feature and was making some moves, getting all the way up to 6th. She did struggle with hitting her marks consistently throughout the race and ended up losing several spots and dropped back to 10th before the leaders came around and decided to take her out on the last lap. She was able to finish the race and crossed the line in 11th place where she started. Does it absolutely suck? Yes! But it is what it is, so all we can do is move forward. She said the car felt better than it has since she started driving it. Not sure if there is any significant damage from the brutal hit she took as of yet but will keep you all posted. We would like to thank our sponsors because without you she would not be able to do what she loves and enjoys!

Happy Friday!
Just wanted to hop on really quick to let you all know that we will not be racing this weekend. The company I work for started a new job Monday and due to the recent weather we just cannot make it out to any tracks. With that being said, we would like to wish our racing friends and their families the best of luck this weekend!

USRA Limiteds at Hunt County Raceway with Jesse Keel

Took the Modified to Hunt County Raceway again on Friday. We did have some issues getting the car to start to unload it out of the trailer. We ended up pulling it out with the Mule. Found out some of the teeth on the flywheel were broken so the starter would not engage. So, the lesson for the weekend for her was to learn how to get push started in a car with a clutch. Didn't take too long since she already knew how to drive a manual everyday car, she got it on the second try. Overall, she did well in her heat and Feature. She did almost spin out one time but was able to catch the car and not kill it. That in itself is hard to do even for the veteran drivers. We have had the carb restricted until she felt comfortable with the car, thinking we are going to go ahead and pull that out and give her full power. Check out her video below.
