Guess who scored an Elite Machine Works printer for $80? I told myself "no more bed slingers" BUT..... I mean look at it. Those are 20mm linear rods, 9mm belts on the Y with nema 23's on a thrust bearing kit that spans all 3. I could go on and on. It's name is Project Overkill, mostly due to not being able to find a name from the manufacture. It seems only a few of these were ever made. I found a unicorn. Now it's time to brush up my RepRap firmware skills!

This started off as a $100 "for parts, not working" Elegoo Neptune 4. I refurbished it, and put OpenNept4une (Open source community firmware) on it. As long as you do not turn on that giant AUX fan, it runs flawless.

In the Laboratory today with my restomod "The Krakken". A Railcore300zl with lots of Mandala Rose Works & 713Maker aluminum hardware, and converted from RepRap and Duet boards to Klipper on BTT Octopus V1.1 board. Custom firmware, and slicer profile on Orca Slicer.

Today is first print with first tune, this will need another tuning for flow rates and the addition of input shaping. Possibly switching the whole firmware side to Klippian for ShakeTune.
