It’s time to celebrate!

Friends, we’re thrilled to share that “Sincerely, Light” by poet Brittany DiSalvo is available now.

This past weekend Brittany had a beautiful pre-release party at her home in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

It is sacred to read and share treasured poems with close friends and family before releasing them to fly out into the world.

Now today, those poems are beginning to nest into hearts and nestle into new homes around the world.

Feeling extremely grateful and a little sentimental today about this collective of artists we’ve been able to partner alongside this year.

Behind the scenes, Dolores and I (Preston) have been at (and still are) at work to create a space that serves artists. Our heart is that someday we will be able to help artists do what they love for a living. And beyond that, that we could create spaces for more making to happen, and avenues for those artists to share and teach their craft with others.

We’re not in a hurry with those goals… we know “Rome wasn’t built in a day” so to speak. But we are excited for the future and humbled by everything we’ve been able to do together in our first year as a collective.

Today is our fourth market. And a couple fun surprises about markets is how much fun it is to meet folks that are interested in the arts, and also the opportunity to share about the creative process behind the works displayed.

Overall, this was a great first year for Gold & Light. And our hearts are feeling the warmth of it. We’ve tried new things and taken risks… we’ve published a book, built a cool online shop, and are committed to serving seven other artists that we’re excited to be dreaming into the new year with.

Merry Christmas, everyone. Thanks for being one of the first to follow along and believe in the dream of Gold & Light :) ✨
