Do you guys feel like he was snubbed after winning finals mvp?🤔
Victor Wembanyama on the cover of NBA 2K27 makes sense. It really does.
You’re looking at a 7-foot-4 anomaly who looks like he was rendered in a video game before he ever stepped foot on an NBA court.
He’s the future, he earned it, and nobody can take that away from him.
But man, it’s hard not to feel something for Jalen Brunson.
While Wemby feels like a gift from the basketball gods, Brunson built himself from the ground up.
He wasn't blessed with alien proportions or effortless hype.
He was a second-round pick people said was too small, too slow, and capped out.
Instead of listening, he just put his head down and went to work.
He moved to New York Knicks, took the heaviest jersey in the league, and carried the weight of an entire city on his shoulders without flinching.
Night after night, he got beat up in the paint, hit cold-blooded shots, and gave the Knicks their soul back after 53 years through sheer willpower, footwork, and grit.
Wemby represents where the game is going, and that’s beautiful.
But Brunson represents the human heart of basketball.
Wemby got the cover, and he deserves every bit of it.
But if you’re asking who earned the right to stand right next to him, it’s the Captain.
Was Jalen Brunson snubbed?
