It’s wonderful to be back! I’m thrilled to feel the excitement for our 45th anniversary. Our ninth annual “Black—Tie Extravaganza” is coming up, and we’re thrilled to have our special guest speaker, 7-time NBA world champion Robert Horry, joining us. People have been reaching out to me, telling me they can’t wait for our banquet. That’s what we’re all working hard to create, right? Preparing for our back-to-school event is always a busy time, but we’re excited to make it a memorable one for everyone.
My friends have been asking how my life story is going. I had to put it on hold for a while since we’ve been so busy.
I’m so grateful for all our volunteers who give their time and selves to help others in our communities. It really takes a lot to make a difference. We accept can foods with expiration dates within a year, clothes in good condition, e-waste, and pet food. Feel free to give me a call to set up a time to donate. All donations are tax-deductible.

Good morning, Laura and Jennifer will be at Lazy Acres in Hermosa from 10:30 to 2 today. The managers told Laura they’ll be there to see her. They’re so glad they’ll be helping us again this year!

Today we will have another team coming in from the nurses at TMMC.

So, yesterday, I asked Laura to reach out to our friend for a question. Guess what? We bumped into our friend, Ms. Beth, at Future Generational Artistry! She had hats with our logo on them in my favorite color, orange, for our volunteers. Thanks a bunch, Ms. Beth! I also met Grace. I was the first Native American she met. Laura told Beth, “John is always running on Indian time.” Grace looked up and said, “Your Native American?”

Hi everyone,

New Challenge Ministries is thrilled to share our exciting partnership with the amazing nurses at Torrance Memorial Medical Center! This is their first time partnering with us, and we’re so honored to have them on board. We’ll be working closely with them for the next two Saturdays and they’ll be back in December to join us again.

This partnership is a big deal for the new nurses at TMMC, and we’re really proud to be able to support them. Mikael, our volunteer daughter, is also a new nurse at TMMC, and he’s been a volunteer with us for 13 years. He’s always been so passionate about helping others, and we’re so grateful to have him on our team.

Good morning,
We would like to express our gratitude to our volunteers from yesterday. Although I intended to give Laura a day off, four of our regular volunteers were unavailable. A special thank you to Melonie for stepping in, along with Jennifer, Robert, and Anthony.
I am always pleased to assist my friend Aida, who is a science teacher at a local school. This week, she requested additional potato chips for her students as it is their final days. Jerry procured eleven dozen Krispy Kreme donuts. I contacted her to inform her that she could collect them, which she was happy to do. She expressed that her classes are going to be delighted.
It is an honour to have Jerry, my friend and volunteer, consistently refer clients in need of prayer to me. He speaks highly of my connection with God, often telling them that God listens to my prayers, as he has witnessed their answers. I am deeply humbled by his kind words and firmly believe in the power of prayer.
I have had the privilege of meeting numerous remarkable individuals from various parts of the world. A friend from Ukraine introduced me to her friend, she is pictured in the center. Her husband is Russian, and they are both very humble individuals who express deep gratitude for our food bank services.
Laura and I delivered a box of food to our friends, Bob and Marie. Bob is currently battling cancer. From 2017 to 2020, they were responsible for picking up and delivering food for us. When Laura was sharing, I remained seated in the truck, and Bob expressed his desire to see me. Marie informed us that although Bob had not left the house in days, he did so specifically to see me. Please keep Bob in your prayers.

Good afternoon! It’s such a lovely day to brighten up the faces of families. We had enough rice to give everyone an extra big bag and it is priceless to see the joy on the kids’ faces giving them candy too.

Meet my friend Dario, a professional boxer, a graduate from Harvard graduate and is making my documentary on my life story.

I’m looking forward to our back-to-school event and our Black-Tie Extravaganza, which is celebrating 45 years!

We have a special speaker lined up, and I can’t wait to share him with you. He’s already given us a verbal commitment and is eagerly looking forward to joining us God is truly good all the time!

Good afternoon,

First, does anyone know how to recover an account after it has been disabled? They have informed me that the account will be reactivated, but did not provide instructions on how to recover it. Any assistance would be appreciated. My former account John Ross had over 6000 followers and close to 5000 friends. I was very disappointed when this happened to me .

The summer months are quickly approaching, and we will be hosting our back-to-school event on August 6th. Immediately following this, we will celebrate 45 years of full-time ministry with our Black-Tie Extravaganza. All glory goes to God for this milestone. By His grace, I have had the privilege of being a part of this esteemed ministry from its inception. We have certainly faced numerous challenges, yet we have also experienced many victories granted by God, making significant differences in countless lives. It will undoubtedly be a night of celebration, and I hope you will mark your calendar for this important occasion. (Last evening we heard great news for one of our speakers) both Laura and I are excited. This is going to be a great celebration of 45 years.

Im always grateful to our volunteers. Anthony found out from his dad's side he is Native American, part Navajo and Blackfeet.

More cereal coming from our partner school Bret Lynn middle school over 350 boxes of cereal, after today, nice.

Good morning!

Memorial Day weekend was a blast for me. On Friday, I had the pleasure of speaking with two military chaplains. They were so grateful that we could help many of our active military families with food. They were amazed at all the delicious and nutritious food we provided. One Major came yesterday.

On Friday, we received over 300 boxes of cereal from Bert Lynn Middle School in Torrance. We weren’t expecting this, but it was a huge blessing for our clients.
