Am I about to start an internet fight???

Look…

Most actors think they can “turn it on” when the audition comes in.

Look, I’m not saying you can’t learn anything. I think everyone’s journey is their journey…AND…I’m just not confident that’s the best route to go.

Listen. If you like, I love it:

I don’t like them and actors have fought me on this for YEARS. I feel like it is a way to stay busy. But not a helpful way.

I love actors and I’m always trying to protect our mind. IMO - this isn’t one of them.

Who started this?

Take your time with your auditions. Put your best work possible. Take all the time you need before the deadline.

And please stop listening to be who are not in the direction you want to be going. Or have not been where you want to go. 🤦🏽‍♂️
