My education continues. Last week Tulane Football pulled the win over South Alabama. Great game! There was pass interference and something called clock management and Iām still trying to understand it all. Thank you Bobby Finn and Peighton Tubre for your hilarious videos.
My adventure around the South continues. Follow along on my stories. We stayed at the Bourbon hotel in the French Quarter ate at Saint Claire listening to frogs and eating like princesses. Took a Ghost Tour, got our cards read, drank lots of Negronis. Cristol Barrett O'Loughlin and Stacey Bailey made last minute plans to join. DJās aunties showed up for him! So grateful for best friends of 30+ years! But best was spending time with my son and his friends
Last night I spent at the Travelers Hotel in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Legend has it blues musician Robert Johnson sold his soul to the devil at the intersection of Highways 61 and 49 in exchange for unmatched guitar playing skills.
I ate at Yazoo Cafe and listened to the blues at Hambone Art Gallery and Music Venue. Stan Street . I walked the streets, bummed some cigs, and chatted with local writers and artists. Itās a small poor town that they all say they were called to live in. I wasnāt feeling my usual extroverted self so Iām grateful Lisa struck up a conversation with me, taught me about Clarksdale and introduced me to her friends.
Today Iām headed to Eureka Springs Arkansas!

My roller skates are pi**ed as they havenāt come out to play yet, but rumor has it thereās a rink on the agenda tomorrow getting into Missouri. I thought about skating in NOLA but the potholes would have been a battle. I chose wisely.
