March 10, 2026 is a day Sasha and her family will never forget. Sasha and her husband, a military veteran, Jarid, excitedly signed the final papers on their new home. Sasha eagerly awaited her new promotion where she worked as a therapist for autistic children. Later that day, she went to the ER with facial numbness. This is when they found a brain tumor around her brain stem. The day she was supposed to start her new job, she went into brain surgery instead. Their new home, no longer something they were looking forward to moving into. They need to turn around and sell it immediately. As I write this, Sasha has been in the hospital for 36 days. Her three children are eager to have her home again. Today, we pray for that day to come and for the great fight to bring Sasha back to her family.

I have been busy! Busy busy!

I am NOT new to being a Mompreneur! I homeschool my kids so being able to bring in extra income is super important for my family. I feel like I have done all the things….I sell on Amazon (personally don’t recommend), sold MLM products (not my thing, sales are hard haha), Nannied, started a photography business, and have worked from home for companies.

For the last year I have been working with a developer on a kids content site. I need something that will help engage my kids at times when we do screen time but I don’t want ads. We have seen too many crazy things pop up. We have developed The Kids Zone. We have over 2000 videos, 500+ games, audiobooks, printables, and so much more.

We are wanting to build this with moms in mind and offering a franchise opportunity!! I have found nothing quite like this. We are wanting to open up our franchise availability with a special offer for the first 20 franchise members.

The kids just left for a sleep over with our best friends.

I decide it’s the perfect time to get some stuff done around the house. It’s goes like this…

• Pick up a toy to put it in son’s room

• Notice son’s room could use some “mom” time

• Start my magic routine of making some things “disappear”

• I want to change out of my dress so I go into my room and change my clothes

• I notice the clothes need washed so I start a load of laundry

• After I put the hamper away, I notice three things piled up that need put in the kitchen

• Put the first tin container on the counter for snacks

• Start cleaning the counter

• Decide an item on the counter can be put up above

• Item goes above and I realize I need to put something else from the counter in our room

• Walk to my son’s room and realize…THIS is where it all started!!

• I’m now scrolling the socials because, well, the kids are away for the night and I don’t HAVE to do anything!

I usually get a little sad after Christmas Day has come and gone because the magic of the lights and anticipation from the kids waiting patiently, counting down the days in their favorite ways has come to an end once again.

In the flip side, the winter months are the hardest for me mentally. They just are. I believe this to be true for many adults. As kids, it’s magic. As adults, you just want to get through it unscathed.

But today, as I looked out my window I saw this narcissus in glorious bloom. It reminded me that magic is yet to come still with the new year ahead of us. Spring is waiting to greet us. Spring is where I believe the true new year starts because life truly blooms.

So sweet narcissus, thank you for the reminder.

Life still remains and the magic is still there, just in different forms.
