There’s nothing worse than overpacking or being underprepared. So here are some pointers for what to expect for the week for more efficient packing and keep your list both fashionable and functional!
You're arriving to fall in the mountains. At 6,225 ft in elevation, the colors are changing, the sun is warm on your face, and the air is crisp. Days are generally a friendly 50s/60s degrees with cooler evenings.
Tuesday, October 12: Imagine yourself standing next to Lake Tahoe watching a sunset, sipping a beverage, slipping into an Adirondack chair circling a firepit next to your newfound friends. Feeling extra cozy, maybe you'll cover yourself with one of the complimentary blankets. If you need to duck inside for a minute, your chapter's Basecamp cottage is your best bet; adjacent to the main event area - the cottage green - it has a kitchen, bathroom, and snacks.
Reminder, you'll be standing on grass, sand, and trails for the better part of the week; we recommend comfortable, close-toed shoes or walking shoes.
Wednesday, October 13: Grab your walking shoes and layers for your Tahoe adventure! You'll receive the meeting time and location for your experience at registration. Bring your mug, grab breakfast to-go, and watch for lunch to be provided on your way back to the Hyatt. Enjoy afternoon speakers on the cottage green, followed by an intimate lakefront dinner. Strategically placed fire pits around the property will lead you to fireside chats and live music. Grab a snack from your chapter Basecamp Cottage and walk the shoreline - time to connect.
Thursday, October 14: Dress in layers for a lakefront day on the cottage green filled with speakers and entertainment. The evening will be outside on the beach in an interactive art and music experience. Bring an expressive outfit that keeps you warm and brings a smile.
