Suzanne has traveled four times to the Canadian Arctic to work with Inuit people, writing The Inuit (Franklin Watts, 2003), and has worked with Indian people from various tribes on books and projects. She is known for careful on site research, which for Bull Rider included interviewing professional bull riders, ranchers, and care givers who work with severely wounded veterans. Venezuela has an election, and the clear loser claims victory, Paris puts on a show that looks like a mockery of The Last Supper and an afront to Christians, but “nothing to see here”. I read posts on Next Door that said this was “artistic”, not about the Last Supper. But the Olympics organizer “apologizes”…sort of. The President who is pretty much AWOL right now (except for him wanting to change the Supreme Court) is going to stay in the race! But wait, he got Covid and is now going to pass the baton to his VP. And she had no popularity the day before, but now has over $50 million in donations via Act Blue (known for smurfing in some camps, by the way). And Trump was almost assassinated and had a clear win to the Presidency but now he and his vice-presidential pick are “weird”. But there are a bunch of “White Dudes for Harris”.

Classes for election observers, workers and voters will begin on Tuesday, May 14. The remaining classes will be on May 18, 21, 25 and June 1 and 4. Tuesdays are from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Saturdays are from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Each class is conducted on-line, consisting of one 2-hour session.
These classes are free of charge. You will learn about the Nevada laws that govern our election processes and how to be a knowledgeable observer of your elections.
Please note: These classes do not replace the training you would receive to become an Election Board Officer. That training is done by your county election officials.
