PRTC customers, if your cable TV and/or internet service does not connect after your power has been restored, please try resetting your cable boxes by unplugging them and plugging back in. You may need to reboot your router as well by unplugging it from the power outlet and plugging it back in.

It states that the message has been verified by Progressive Rural and it has the PRTC logo and it looks legitimate. THIS MESSAGE IS NOT FROM PRTC! Please DELETE it and again, DO NOT SCAN THE QR Code.
The message appears to be from PRTC however it's sent from an icloud address:

FYI: Skitter/Absolute Cable TV is still in negotiations with Tegna. We have not been given an estimated time as to when the CBS channels will be returned. PRTC hate this for our customers and we appreciate your patience.

To our Absolute CableTV/Skitter Customers:
We have been notified by Absolute CableTV, that they are currently in negotiations with program provider Tegna and are experiencing difficultly negotiating fair pricing for 2024 and beyond.
The current agreement will expire on Monday, January 1st at midnight. If an agreement is not reached, the following channels will go dark on Monday:
WMAZ-Ch 13 WMAZDT2-Ch 14 (CW) WMAZDT3-Ch 15 (True Crime) We are hopeful an agreement can be reached to limit the interruption of service for these channels.
