If there is one thing that almost all of us have in common, it is that in all of our homes, in our basements, attics, and closets, we all have old VHS tapes that need to be transferred to new digital productions. Digital transfers are all on the rise. Often we find transferring to DVD or thumb drive from the analog format to the new digital productions a challenge. It does not have to be this way. Many of us have old home family movies in VHS, VHS-C, Hi-8, super 8 mm film, and a lot of other various formats that have come and gone over the years. Transferring VHS or old films to DVD or thumb drive seems to be all of the rage these days as we all seek to re-capture and preserve our favorite family moments. All of these memories must go through the delicate process of being transferred from analog to new digital productions. Often video editing is needed and sometimes, people are torn as to which tapes or films should be transferred. Our answer at Transferring VHS to DVD, or thumb drive, is that if you are not sure then you may be ignoring a lost memory never to be seen again. Since the cost these days is more affordable than we realize, we suggest to most of our customers simply to transfer everything into new pristine digital productions.
