It wasn’t 30 minutes after left that a bird flew into the deck windows without a shred of hesitation & with enough conviction that the reflection it saw was not through a window but a continuation of fluffy clouds in an open sky... so much so that it did not survive the impact! (RIP little birdie.)
If that doesn’t tell you how good of a job does, I don’t know what will! Clean windows and screens make me so HAPPY! I used to wash them myself each year but the older & wiser I get and the fact that this company is so good & very affordable— I gladly leave it to the professionals now! Every time I think about it I feel a burning up my neck— the moment of “losing my crap” I referred to in my last post. I was getting after Boston and Hudson about ALL the things; being responsible, caring about homework/school, getting along, so complaining and just do what you’re asked... and on and on... I call it diarrhea mouth— (which is super gross, I’m not sure when/why I started to say that).
I called for Logan, cuz I was already in the thick of it, might as well go 3 for 3. He came quietly out of his room and said, ‘um mom, I’m on a zoom call with my teacher!” 🤦🏼‍♀️🤭 Boston and Hudson tried to hide their laughter! While I crawl in a hole.
Today in a text that same teacher said, “Thank you. He is so lucky to have you for his mom🤗”
God bless teachers and moms! And moms trying to be teachers and teachers trying to teach while dealing with moms. And bless the kids who are in the middle of it all. What an experience!

I’ve discovered the one thing that can get me a fast pass to anxiety is... PowerSchool!
Talk about a love/hate relationship! On one hand I’m so grateful to be in ‘the Know’ and able to intervene at any moment (aka, loose my crap, threaten, take devices away, along with tv, Xbox & socializing— oh wait, scratch that last one 🤪). On the other hand... Ignorance is such bliss!
Oh how I’d love some bliss right about now!
Has this week been homeschool crunch-time for anyone else or are we the only ones who’ve fallen behind?
I just washed blue paint off my hands from touching Boston’s animal cell project she just finished... that was due on Monday.🤷🏼‍♀️
So ya, It’s Friday and I’m feeling behind on all the things. Biggest thing is the Soulphoria podcast won’t be launching on Monday. 😢 I knew it could be a possibility but kept an optimistic mind that I’d find pockets of time— time with quiet, clarity & focus! (Bahahahaha) So now we shift that optimism to find Grace! Grace to not get down and discouraged! 🙌🏼☺️🙏🏻 It’ll all work out!
So here’s to celebrating the small wins! Mine: The kids turned their D’s & F’s into A’s & B’s and I cleaned off my desk, which has a way of clearing the clutter in my head too!

Two down ✌🏼an infinity to go!! 🤞🏼🎙 Oh my gosh I haven’t been this excited about something in a freaking long time! Not sure if the butterflies are nerves or euphoria but it feels good and always leads to a uncontrollable giggle and sometimes even a happy dance....sooooo I’m gonna go with pure euphoria! 🤗 There’s just so many cool things happening, I feel incredibly grateful and blessed. ♥️

Hey there, Fear! 👋 I see you taking your stance, urging me to stop! I feel you in the tingling rising up my neck and setting my ears on fire! Ya, I gotch you!⠀
Things sure started off a bit rocky with us, but over time you’ve been my greatest teacher. Together we’ve curated one impressive list of limiting beliefs to debunk! Your brutal honesty day after day, thought after thought... have kept me on my toes!⠀

Thank you for fueling this raging curiosity inside me to seek knowledge and understanding. You‘ve played a huge roll in testing my faith, divine nature, knowledge & individual worth. Your tenacity and grit to work old thought patterns at every angle forced me to diligently study my mindset, emotions and thoughts—which ultimately lead me to seek greater truth & comfort from my Savior, Jesus Christ. Without you, I wouldn’t know the sadness & emptiness that engulfs a heart when it’s ignored or how crucial it is to show up to life simply and fully, ME— to listen, lean in, trust and follow my soul, always. I am now home— body, mind & spirit.♥️⠀

Well Fear, as you know, Faith has arrived! She’s journeyed long & hard to get here!! Of course this isn’t goodbye— you’ll continue to show up for me with new thoughts to test my beliefs, learn from my weaknesses and keep me safe. But in times (such as now) when you are here— I’ll meet you with love, understanding & humbleness to learn NEW things— while I purge the old programming we’ve already worked to death! Overtime you’ll have a fancy new operating system!
