Congratulations to Quintin LaBorde and Maison K***z! Their digital film, Double Loyalty, earned 1st place earlier today at the PA Media and Design state competition.

The competition is an annual event that showcases Pennsylvania studentsโ€™ creativity, technical skills, and knowledge. It gives students the opportunity to express their creativity, communicate ideas in dynamic ways, and strengthen their learning through hands-on media and design projects.

Quintin, a senior, has truly gone above and beyond this year. Heโ€™s the kind of student who goes all in, not because he has to, but because he genuinely cares about his work and growth. His creativity, dedication, and drive have set him apart as both an artist and a leader.

Over the past year, Quintin has competed in numerous competitions, earning multiple achievements. His achievements include:

3rd Place in the Think Donโ€™t Drink Radio Contest
2nd Place in the MSSC Fall 2025 High School Video Contest
2nd Place in the PSA โ€œDonโ€™t Let Pain Become a Killerโ€ Video Contest
Audience Choice Award in the Robert Morris 48-Hour Film Project
5th Place in the SkillsUSA State Digital Cinema Competition
1st Place at the PA Media & Design District Competition

Whether working independently or collaborating with others, Quintin consistently brought initiative, creativity, and professionalism to everything he did. Heโ€™s someone classmates can count on, always willing to step up, help out, and take on new challenges without needing recognition. Through it all, heโ€™s continued to grow his skills, take on real-world projects, and leave a lasting impact on our program.

Looking ahead, Quintin has already taken meaningful steps toward his future and will be attending Robert Morris University to study Digital Cinema after graduation.

We are incredibly proud of Quintinโ€™s hard work, achievements, and growth. His passion and determination truly set an example for others.

Congratulations to Our Digital Media Arts Students!

Weโ€™re proud to share that Quintin LaBorde, Maison K***z, Alexander Ray Buck, Araina Young, & Alexis Marlin placed 2nd in the PIAA "Donโ€™t Let Pain Become a Killer" PSA Video Contest.

This competition challenged students to create a 30-second PSA focused on preventing student opioid abuse. Their hard work and creativity earned them a $500 award for the Digital Media Arts program. They will be recognized on March 21st at the 25-26 State Basketball Championship in Hershey, PA.

Our BroadcastNOW students were behind the cameras at WTAJ today!

They recorded interviews, grabbed B-roll, and got an inside look at how the broadcasting world works.

This past weekend, Maison K***z and Quintin Laborde, two of our Digital Media Arts students, took on a 48-Hour Film Competition, writing, filming, and editing a complete short film in just 48 hours!

For their challenge, they were assigned:

๐Ÿ”น Character: Food Service Worker
๐Ÿ”น Genre: Mystery

Along with judged categories like Best Cinematography and Best Editing, thereโ€™s also a ๐…๐š๐ง ๐…๐š๐ฏ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ž ๐€๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐, which is decided entirely by YouTube likes.
