We just want to thank our last guest for spending another weekend at the Fox Den! Check out our latest review! Enchanting 2 Bedroom Cottage, The Fox Den, 258 Acres, Farmville, VA

We love this property; it is so quiet and peaceful We love the cottage and the hiking/walking that is all on site. The house is warm and inviting, decorated with farmhouse chic style. This is our second time and we came more prepared to not have to leave at all during our stay. We love napping on the porch and star gazing by the fire pit. Nicole and family are amazing hosts, making sure we have everything we need and more. We hope to go back in the fall.

Spring has sprung at The Fox Den! We have been busy planting blueberry bushes, plum, pear and peach trees.

Eddie the Ground Hog has dug out of his winter hibernation. Stay tuned as we have a game camera on his tunnel entrances!

The old Paradise apple tree is in bloom and looks as beautiful as ever. Eddie lives right under the apple tree, what a smart guy, food just falls into his house!

The Fox Den has availability this weekend and the weather looks fantastic! Bike or Hike the High Bridge Trail, enjoy Friday night live music night, amazing drinks & wood fire pizza at the Sandy River Distillery, hike the miles of trails on the 258 acres, shop downtown Farmville and Greenfront Furniture, Saturday Farmville Farmers Market...and the list goes on. Also, just relax at The Fox Den, read a book on the front porch (catch a glimpse of Eddie the groundhog coming out of hibernation), have a fire by the firepit and enjoy some stargazing!

We have made it one year as a short term rental! Still holding strong on the 5 star reviews! If you are looking for a place to hunker down for the weekend this winter, explore Farmville and their fabulous restaurants and boutique shopping, hike/bike the High Bridge Trail, or sit by the firepit and enjoy the stars, then do yourself a favor and book a weekend at The Fox Den today!
