Walkin’ Money fam, happy Monday!
We’re nearing the end of the holiday season. I am hoping to get the last of my orders finished and to go out next week. Fingers crossed
I want to share my gratitude with everyone who has done business with me whether that’s ordering a custom, buying a ready to ship item, liking/sharing my post and following along with me on this journey. I can definitively say this is the busiest I’ve been for Christmas. I took on way more than I intended on and still am squeezing in what I can.
With that being said, please remember that I do everything from scratch. I build my own templates/patterns, every design is done from scratch. I don’t use AI or bought designs. I take a lot of pride in my work, using as much creativity and originality as I possibly can. I also still sew by hand and honestly prefer this method. While it is more time consuming, I can guarantee every stitch is exactly how I intend it to be. I also take care of all the messages, emails and so forth which tends to be where i lack. Typically, i dont have the headspace to go through them right away, i try and put forth all my focus at that task at hand. I don’t want to distract myself trying to grab as many orders as possible, jeopardizing the quality or produt I’m putting out. I acknowledge that isn’t great for customers but unfortunately that is what works best for me at this time.
All this to say thank you guys for trusting my abilities and understanding the time and effort it takes to do this. I’m not making a fortune on this, most days it’s hardly break even. However, money isn’t my interest. I genuinely enjoy creating. I’ve always been into art and design and this just happens to be my medium to express it through.
-I was hoping to have some non custom odds and ends items available but unfortunately I just don’t have the time. There are a few items RTS in my Etsy.
