There comes a point in marketing when you have to pause and ask the question every business owner needs to ask:
Is this actually working?
Not, “Am I busy?”
Not, “Am I posting?”
Not, “Did I send the email, run the ad, update the website, or try the latest tool?”
Those are activities. And yes, they matter. But activity by itself is not the same thing as progress.
The real question is whether your marketing is helping the right people find you, understand you, trust you, and take the next step.
That is what this week’s blog is about: **Measuring Marketing Success: What’s Actually Working?**
In the article, I’m talking about how to look at your marketing with more clarity—not from a place of pressure, but from a place of curiosity.
What is bringing in real conversations?
What is helping people understand your value?
What is building trust over time?
What needs to be refined?
And what are you finally ready to stop doing?
Because measuring marketing success is not about tracking every number or turning your business into a spreadsheet. It is about paying attention to the signals that matter: traffic, engagement, inquiries, referrals, email replies, qualified leads, customer conversations, and the patterns that keep showing up.
When you know what is working, you can do more of it.
When you know what is not working, you can improve it—or let it go.
That is where marketing starts to feel less random and more intentional.
