Today and tomorrow, July 8 & 9, from 9 am to 5 pm, FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance Teams will be at the Pleasant View Villa Apartments, 51500 County Rd 512, Sidon, MS 38954.

If you were affected by the storms and tornadoes on March 14-15, visit and see what assistance they can provide with your recovery.

FEMA will be there to help you register for assistance, give you updates, accept any needed documents, and answer your questions.

Jackson State University’s (JSU) Office of Community Engagement partnered with the Pecan Tree Park Neighborhood Association to provide 150 Jackson residents with free Ring doorbells. The project was made possible through a $50,000 Home Depot Retool Your School Community Project Grant providing residents increased surveillance, accessibility and more.
