Upcoming Murderbugs Story, “Eugene, Such a Sweet Boy” - Murder's worth the wait, and Abigail is as patient as a saint.

Julia V. Ashley writes speculative fiction that explores the space between the real and the imagined. As an architect, she often delves into the crumbling buildings of the Gothic South where she grew up to find inspiration. Her debut short story "Two Tickets to Tomorrow" came out in the 2022 anthology 4th And Starlight, and her alternate history, "The Doom of Egypt," will appear in the upcoming A Bit of Luck anthology in the winter of 2024. Jazz by Faelight, her new short story collection, is out now.
