Jason Aldean tells AmericanSongwriter.com that he loves giving the artists he tours with extravagant gifts. “You get out there and get to know these guys and see what they’re into and what they like and then kinda figure it out. Kane kept talking about how much he wanted a four wheeler when we were on tour together, so I got Kane a four-wheeler. “When Luke Bryan was out with me, he kept talking about how much he loved fishing, so I got him a bass boat.”
Morgan Wallen was doing a recent interview with CountryNow.com when he said he wasn't allowed to listen to secular music when he was a child. “I grew up in a very rural Southern Baptist church, singing gospel and bluegrass. When I was 5 years old, I asked for a violin for Christmas, and I’d play piano growing up, but I wasn’t allowed to listen to secular music when I was a kid. The first non-Christian album I bought was a Breaking Benjamin CD. My buddies were listening to that kind of stuff.”
Tyler Hubbard says he loved reuniting with Brian Kelley this past weekend at the CMA Fest. “I gotta be honest, I hadn’t been that nervous in that much excitement in a long time. I mean, it was wild. It felt like I was about to play the Super Bowl or something… So, it was nice once we finally got rolling, once we got into the songs, and I was like, ‘alright, I can actually breathe,’ I can, you know, find some oxygen to sing these notes and get it done. But probably the few hours before was pretty — I only vomited like four times before (the show). No, honestly, it was fun though. Me and BK had some moments before just to kind of take it in, breathe and do some vocal warmups, and just soak it in together. It was really special. And then it went by really fast, and (when) got done, we were on a high for the rest of the night. It was just a blast. To feel that much love, to see the joy in the faces and laughs and tears and everything else, it was really special.”

Riley Green was recently doing an interview for People magazine when he said his grandfather is the reason he goes by his middle name, Riley. "Nobody's ever called me Johnathan. I know that I got the name Riley because my great-granddaddy, Paul started calling my dad Riley. My dad's name is Kevon. Because of that, my parents decided to name their first son Riley. That became my middle name, and I've used it forever. I don't even think I would turn if I heard someone call me Johnathan."
KLRT says Justin Moore is stepping away from touring. He released a statement saying, “This is the right decision for me and my family, and I appreciate everyone’s understanding and support. I look forward to getting back out there later this summer and doing what I love most.”
