R.I.P. to one of the greatest engineers to ever do it. Steve Albini worked with so many great artists, including Nirvana, The Pixies, and many other legends in music.

Back in the 90’s our owner John Morand and Steve Albini (SA on the 2nd picture’s track list) were able to work on Breadwinner’s album “Burner” together, half recorded by Steve in Chicago, and half by John in Richmond. John says he would always see Steve at events and they would always catch up on what was happening in their respective music scenes.

Our thoughts and prayers are with , Albini’s studio in Chicago❤️ Rest easy Steve

Headquartered in Richmond, VA, Sound of Music is an internationally acclaimed production studio building on a 25-year history of excellence in sound design and art production.
