She believed she could, so she did! šŖ
I made it out to the inaugural Black Literature Festival hosted by this weekend! While I was eager to meet and engage with fellow local black authors, I was most enthused about my client, , celebrating her first book signing after the recent release of her book, May We Never Meet Again! š
When I arrived, my girl had folks lined up out the door waiting to get their books signed! And listen, I stood patiently in line and waited my turn! š
Prior to us working together, I did not know this beauty, but let it be known that we are now forever locked in! š Her energy is so pure, so beautiful, and so contagious! She is hungry, eager, and very passionate about her craft! Iām truly humbled and honored to have been a part of her journey thus far and I cannot wait to witness just how far she soars! š«
Of course, itās always a pleasure to see another beauty, , who is also a past (and future š) client! My son and I already have a copy of her new childrenās book, Can I Really Do All Things?, but we still couldnāt pass up a photo opp! š
After attending Saturdayās event, I felt even more proud of the work that I do here at . The authors who participated get to celebrate a huge accomplishment, but there are so many people still struggling to navigate authorship. Iām on a personal mission to help increase the number of authors at Jamesā event next year, and in general! šš¾
Congratulations James on a successful inaugural event and to all of the who participated! š„³
