In 2017, I traveled to Mozambique to meet with Heidi Baker and her team. Along the way, I unexpectedly met missionary Carolyn Figlioli, who just six weeks earlier had completed a five-month journey to rescue 147 children out of war-torn South Sudan. Her story of danger, courage, and God stepping in again and again grabbed me and wouldn't let go. I knew right then I had to go to Uganda and South Sudan to tell it.

That journey became War At Your Door, one of the most inspiring, faith-filled stories I've ever had the honor of telling. It's now streaming on Angel Studios. It will inspire you, encourage you, and it just might change your life.

Heidi Baker on the Miraculous Evacuation of Iris Global Children's Home in South Sudan

When civil war erupted in South Sudan, Iris Global missionary Carolyn Figlioli and 147 children were trapped in the middle of a brutal conflict. With borders locked down, zero financial resources for an air evacuation, and armies closing in, escape seemed utterly impossible.

Across the world, the entire Iris Global family mobilized—crying out, fasting, and interceding daily for a divine breakthrough. It was a day-by-day battle fought on their knees, trusting God to make a way when every earthly door was shut.

What followed was nothing short of a true miracle: every single child was brought safely out of the war zone and into Uganda.
