We couldn’t be happier for our friend Andy Kaufman.

We first met Andy as the Russian literature professor at the heart of Chris Farina’s, SEATS AT THE TABLE, bringing Dostoevsky into a Virginia correctional facility and demonstrating the extraordinary power of stories to create connection.

Now another chapter of Andy’s work has made its way to the screen.

This week, Andy was at the Toronto International Film Festival for THE IDIOT(S), based on his book THE GAMBLER WIFE, watching it for the first time alongside his wife, Corinne.

Congratulations, Andy — what an incredible and well-deserved moment.

We're excited to announce that Listen Out Loud Media will lead the International Impact & Engagement Campaign for the 21st International Youth Media Summit .summit.

This July, 50 young filmmakers representing more than 20 countries will gather in Paris to tell stories that matter.

This is just the beginning.

Seats at the Table, directed by Chris Farina, follows a remarkable college course created by Dr. Andrew Kaufman, bringing together university students and incarcerated youth through the study of Russian literature.

What begins as separation becomes connection — stereotypes fall away, relationships form, and both groups leave transformed.

This is where impact begins.
