Heads up if you get your water from the City of Richmond! A power outage caused a pump to malfunction and some people may experience total loss in water service and some may have varying degrees of water pressure loss. It's a good idea to try to fill your bathtub so you can flush toilets, etc. Don't drink your tap water while there is a boil water advisory.

The City of Richmond, in partnership with the Virginia Department of Health, has issued a Boil Water Advisory immediately and until further notice for all City of Richmond residents.
