Shrinking opposition to Richmond’s Bike Loop construction and completion has retreated and galvanized to raise money for a new cycling feature in Gorge Park.
Enthusiastic in their last ditch plan, the Bike Loop haters have organized themselves as the “Bike Loop Opposition Brotherhood-Sisterhood” hereby nicknamed BLOBS.
The local BLOBS hope to build a ramping jump to attrack the local cyclists and citizens that are not opposed to the City Loop construction and completion.
These pro bike loop people believe that Bikers Establish Strong Towns. The Bikers Establish Strong Towns group is appropriately nicknamed “BEST”.
It’s the BEST who were not flattered by the BLOBS’ offering because they know the ramp/jump was not a protected path and not a thought-through design that was a short-sighted conclusion made by dangerously small thinkers.
