“Yes. Diddy pays me $2,000 everyday, for the rest of his life. This is why. In 1997, Diddy dropped the tribute titled “I’ll Be Missing You” to his late artist, Notorious BIG. The track heavily sampled a track I wrote — “Every Breath You Take”.

Diddy didn’t clear the samples with me before dropping the song. Then, my team & I took legal action against him. And the court ruled that I either blocked the song, or I’m paid royalty for life. I chose royalty. And that means $2,000 everyday for life.”
