In case you missed it, The Usual Suspects have released their free version of the famous Roland JP-8080 synth. This goes beyond mere emulation and is running the actual Roland ROM via an emulation of the chip the synth was based on. Only slight pain is that you have to track down and install the ROM yourself.

Sounds absolutely amazing. The Usual Suspects team keeps hitting it out of the park. Check out their free emulations of the Access Virus, Waldorf Microwave XT, and Nord Lead, too!
