WECI 91.5fm Richmond's Public Radio Richmond, Indiana's public radio station. Student-run, community supported. Broadcast from the campus of Earlham College.

Broadcasting from the campus of Earlham College, WECI is a volunteer-operated, community radio station in Richmond, Indiana, US. Operating at a frequency of 91.5 megahertz, with an effective radiating power of 400 watts, WECI reaches Wayne County and parts of Fayette, Franklin, Randolph, and Union counties in Indiana, as well as parts of Preble and Darke counties in Ohio. This enables a listening

audience of approximatley150,000 people. WECI attempts to air genres of music otherwise not found on local radio stations. Many of the shows we air have been part of the WECI schedule for over a decade. At WECI we attempt to balance our long standing programs with a more in-flux array of programs in hopes of reflecting the dynamic pace of emerging trends in music and popular culture. WHen it comes to reflecting contemporary popular-culture, WECI believes the youth know best; because of this many of our shows are generally done by Earlham College student DJs, as a well as significant amount of young adults from the surrounding area . Shows change several times a year, but will often be renewed if they are popular and well produced. By combining the diversity of rotating student shows and the consistency of our long-standing shows, we combine the best attributes of community radio stations with the best of college radio. This allows us to produce a schedule unlike those on other stations. WECI also provides news programming which aims to educate and inform our listening constituencies in ways that are otherwise unavailable in the community.
