🚨 Public Service Announcement! 🚨

In what can only be described as a moment of questionable judgment and pure curiosity... we entered the America's Favorite Couple contest. 😂❤️

Do we expect to win? Probably not.
Did we think it would be fun? Absolutely.

If you'd like to throw a vote our way, we'd love the support! The link is below. Thanks for humoring us and cheering us on—we appreciate you all more than you know!

Much love,
Jason & Nicole ❤️

One couple will share their love story in a Variety Magazine advertorial, take home $20,000, and enjoy a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum, plus Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis.

🎮 **NEW EPISODE!**

How do you protect your kids online without teaching them to fear technology?

In Episode 6 of Table for Two, we're sharing a real story from our own family about an online interaction our son Ben handled with wisdom, and why it made us incredibly proud.

We also talk about:
🕹️ Why technology isn't the enemy.
💬 How to create a home where kids feel safe telling you the truth.
🛡️ Practical steps every parent should know to help children navigate online games and social spaces safely.
❤️ Why our goal isn't to raise fearful kids—but wise ones.

If you're a parent, grandparent, teacher, children's worker, or youth leader, we hope this conversation encourages and equips you.

If you're serving in ministry, raising kids in a ministry home, leading a Sunday School class, volunteering with youth, or simply trying to love people well, some days are heavy. People don't always see the prayers, the tears, the late-night phone calls, the hospital visits, the disappointments, or the moments when you wonder if anything you're doing really matters.

But every once in a while, God lets you peek behind the curtain. A changed life. A baptism. A prayer answered. A child growing in faith. A reminder that what you do matters.

Nobody stays because it's easy. We stay because once in a while God reminds us why we said yes. ❤️

Episode 5 of Table for Two is available now. If this encourages you, we'd love for you to listen—and please share it with someone else serving faithfully.

The hardest part of ministry isn't the hours. It's loving people.

Not because people are a burden, but because love always costs something. Love rejoices with those who rejoice and mourns with those who mourn. Love carries burdens. Love shows up for hospital visits, funerals, difficult conversations, and moments nobody else sees.

And honestly? That's also what makes ministry beautiful.
Because every once in a while, God lets you peek behind the curtain and reminds you why you said yes.

Episode 5 of Table for Two is available now. We'd love for you to listen—and if it encourages you, please share it with someone else. ❤️

🎙️ NEW EPISODE!

Episode 5 of Table for Two is now available!

"You Only Work One Day a Week"

What do pastors and church staff actually do all week? Why do ministry families carry burdens that few people ever see? And why do we keep saying yes?

Along the way, our three kids take over the microphones for a few minutes and tell the truth about life with Mom and Dad. 😂

This episode is funny, honest, and ultimately a celebration of the people and moments that remind us why serving Jesus and loving people is always worth it.

If you've ever wondered what ministry really looks like behind the scenes, pull up a chair and join us.

And if you know a pastor, pastor's spouse, church leader, or church member who might enjoy this conversation, we'd love it if you'd share this post and help us spread the word. ❤️

As a kid, we were convinced certain jobs had to be way easier or way cooler than they really are. 😂

So here's this week's light-hearted question:

👉 What job did you completely misunderstand as a kid?

Did you think teachers just handed out homework all day? That pilots got to fly wherever they wanted? Drop your answer below!

And speaking of misunderstood jobs… Episode 5 of Table for Two drops tomorrow. We're pulling back the curtain on ministry life, the things nobody sees, and letting our three kids tell the truth about what Mom and Dad actually do all week.

Trust me… you might be surprised. ❤️

Most couples have heard plenty of warnings about what can destroy a relationship. What we don't hear nearly enough about is what helps a relationship thrive.

Today on The Dirt Path, Jason looks at one of the most surprising verses in Proverbs. A verse where Solomon isn't warning about counterfeit love. He's celebrating covenant love.

And no, Jason does not mention his smoking hot wife, except to say that he won't.

This video comes with a PG-13 rating.  And before anyone asks, I promise there will be no stories today about my smoking hot wife. Actually, that’s part of the problem. The church has spe…

A reminder from your friendly neighborhood pastors:

Your server is probably underpaid, overworked, dealing with things you know nothing about, and still trying to make sure your sweet tea stays full.

Be kind. Be patient. Tip well.

And if you're wondering what that has to do with following Jesus, that's exactly what we're talking about in Episode 4 of Table for Two: Love Looks Like This?*

There are a lot of things Christians can disagree about. Loving people isn't one of them.

In Episode 4 of Table for Two, we're talking about the lessons children learn from the adults around them—and why there is never a point in our walk with Jesus where we get to flip off the love switch.

🎙️ "Love Looks Like This?" is available now wherever you listen to podcasts.
