“Women Who Walk on Wednesday Then Get the Word”

Today, we kicked off Women’s History Month with purpose and fellowship.

Shari and I walked 3.08 miles in 1.05 hours at Dorey Park before heading to our powerful Bible Study at 6:30. It was a beautiful time to move our bodies, clear our minds and prepare our hearts for the word.

Sis. Stevenson enjoyed a beautiful walk today as well at Sunday Park (video in the comments).

During this Lenten season, we are intentionally focusing on both our spiritual and physical health.

I can’t wait to see where we walk next week. We are so excited to spring forward on Sunday and have more greeters join us next week.

Last Sunday, our Betsy Gunn Memorial Greeters Ministry had the joy of welcoming guests during the first Sunday of Black History Month. With warm smiles, open hearts, and a spirit of love, they set the tone for worship at RMZ and made everyone feel right at home.

We’re grateful for each Greeter who served so faithfully, despite the snow and ice, and helped reflect the love, history, and unity we celebrate—not just this month, but always. 🙏🏽❤️✊🏾❄️

Thank you to Pastor Roscoe D. Cooper III, First Lady Candice and everyone that was instrumental in making Built to Serve a blessed success.

A special thanks to Shari for helping me welcome and register all attendees. A huge thank you to our 14 greeters that not only attended, but were engaged the entire presentation.

This year our ministry will continue to glorify Christ, edify the Church and lift up our Communities.
