*Roman Update*

He has been making amazing progress. Hes now trying to run and doing his best to use his hands to feed himself with a fork! They had a little valentines party at the hospital yesterday he thought it was just for him 😭

They chose to leave the bandages off his face for the first time and its healing beautifully. Still a long road of healing but everyday it gets better 🥰

He has some rough functionality issues with his arms due to scar contractures. So they will put him to sleep Monday to put his arms in casts to get them stretched out to prevent surgery. Please pray hard that his arms loosen up and he can start to straighten them 🙏

Thank you everyone for the prayers and all of the love & kindsness youve shownmy family. Gods heard each and every prayer and hes not done yet!

Please continue to share Roman's journey. I know God's using him in a mighty way 💙💚💛

HE DID IT!! 😭😭

Roman finally made his mind up that he was going to walk and he went all out🙌🙌🙌.
We went down to the cafeteria. He went shopping and got ice cream! Took it back to his room, Swapped socks and kept rolling all day! He even got back to playing with toys with Sissy There are a bunch of clips of today's Journey.

I cant thank our community enough for supporting and sharing romans journey. I firmly believe God's using Roman to touch and save people. Kayla and I Truly appreciate each and every one of you 💙💚💛🧡

What a huge day!! Roman had all of his bandages removed except covering his face💙 He has on some new Monster truck pajamas that he absolutely loves!!

AND HE WALKED!!! 😭😭 Hes building up his confidence and can only do a few steps at a time but this was a huge hurdle he overcame. We are so so proud of him. Hes overcoming more and more everyday. God is so good 🙏

*Roman update*

He has been healing beautifully since his final surgery. Right now the only open wounds are his face and the top of his head. PT and OT have been working with him to get usage of his hands and legs back. He wont walk for us yet but he was able stand for a few seconds with help 💙

We did just achieve an incredible milestone a few moments ago!! I got back to his room with favorite chips and he used not one but both hands to eat his chips!!🙌

God has been so faithful through this tragedy and hes saw us through the worst. Thank you to everyone for lifting prayers up to heaven for our baby boy. God heard them all and he answered in a miraculous way. 🙏💙💜♥️❤️

*MAJOR UPDATE* The past 48 hours have been a whirlwind for our family. Roman went shopping with me via FaceTime yesterday and picked out some new pikachu pillows for his arms! 💙His favorite food of all time is Tacos. So he crushed 2 whole tacos to himself🙏

We were released from ICU and moved to Acute pediatric floor as well 🙌🙌

**Now for the most incredible news**

Roman had surgery today, which was meant to be focused on skin grafting his face. And if they had time working on his hands.

As the procedure started Dr Feldman saw his face had healed so incredibly over the past week. That roman no longer needed skin grafting to his face. They applied RECELL SPRAY to cover his face and neck. Grafted his hands and this very likely was his last surgery!!!!!!!!!😭😭💙💙💙

We didnt think this was even a possibility at this point as the drs were also caught off guard by his incredible healing. God truly is hearing everyone's prayers. Thank each and every person who has prayed for roman, shared his story and supported our family. God is good all the time
