Wow what a solid year! Huge thanks to everyone that trusts me with their music and allows me to do what I enjoy. I love the history that is developing at the studio and am excited to add to it this year. Now booking for February and beyond hmu!

The album is out!! This was an amazing project to be a part of, huge thanks to the band for having me on. It rocks so hard. Dive in and get to know it, it’s got it all.

Side note “Heart of Mud” is a masterpiece and truly one of my favorite songs of all time

I’ve enjoyed giving this 1971 Univox 1221 amp a refresh over the last couple weeks. New power tubes, tube sockets, and electrolytic capacitors. It sounds great in general but I’m particularly very stoked to finally have a tube amp that sounds killer with bass. Amps rule I love amps 🤷🏼‍♂️

‘s first released song is finally out today! Gina and I started working on songs 5ish years ago. Crazy it took so long but it’s been really fun and we have a bunch more in the works!

The pic in slide 2 is from when “Night Cap” was born. We just randomly started jamming it in between takes of recording a different song!

Enjoy this pic thru the glass of performing a dreamy acoustic set in front of a small live audience. on video duty, keep an eye out for that in the near future. Four freshly built headphone volume control boxes for bassist/producer extraordinaire . I enjoy making these, they’re a really useful and overlooked little studio tool and they get used here during every session. Ask me about them if you’re interested!

Been busy ‘round here! Today I’m working on mixes and I wrapped up 3 separate mastering projects, excited for those releases! I’ve been getting projects going with clients old and new. Thank you to those who come back and to those who spread the word of go west!🙏

Admiring the build quality of my Ascent Two mic pre as have it opened up. Just checking on one of the DI jacks after I yanked on it pretty good the other day. The nut went flying and everything 😬 All good, thumbs up for NOT PCB-mounted jacks. I love this preamp, it’s the workhorse of the studio. The best DI’s as well 🤌
