Today we celebrate the fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who chose to show up, lead with love, and break generational cycles. The men who worked hard, stayed present, and created a better path for their children deserve our gratitude and admiration.

For those whose fathers are no longer here, Father’s Day can bring both love and longing. Take comfort in knowing that the memories, lessons, and love they shared continue to live on through you.

And for anyone feeling the absence of a father today, remember that our Heavenly Father is always near. God’s love never leaves us, His guidance never fails, and His presence continues to watch over us every step of the way.

Last night, I was honored to be nominated & appointed Treasurer of the Fort Bend County Democratic Party.

As a CPA, I believe stewardship matters. Stewardship of the resources entrusted to us, stewardship of our members’ trust, and stewardship of the responsibility to serve our community with integrity, transparency, and accountability.

I am grateful for the confidence placed in me and excited to serve alongside our leadership team and the newly nominated precinct chairs who have stepped up to help move our party forward. Our precinct chairs are the backbone of grassroots organizing, and their willingness to serve deserves recognition and appreciation.

Fort Bend County is strongest when people step up to serve, and I am proud to be one of them.

Thank you for this opportunity. I’m ready to get to work.

A heartfelt thank you to Amaro Law Firm⁠ for inviting me to join their team and so many incredible volunteers in supporting Helping Hands of Richmond/Rosenberg.

It was an honor to serve alongside individuals who are dedicated to making a real difference in our community. Organizations like Helping Hands play a critical role in Fort Bend County by helping families meet their most basic needs, including access to food and essential resources.

With the rising cost of living and continued inflation, more hardworking families, seniors, and residents are finding it difficult to make ends meet. Helping Hands steps in during those challenging times, providing support, hope, and dignity to those who need it most.

Thank you to Amaro Law Firm for investing in our community and recognizing the importance of service. Together, we can continue to strengthen Fort Bend County and ensure that our neighbors have access to the resources they need to thrive.

Yesterday was history. I’m extremely happy, grateful, and proud of the hard work that April put in.

This is what a true grassroots campaign looks like. A campaign powered by community, hard work, sacrifice, and people coming together for something bigger than themselves. I’m proud that our community stood together and proved that everyday people still have a voice, even when facing opponents backed by millionaires and powerful interests. We need a good community leader,

I’m also incredibly grateful for my daughters, who have been participating since the primaries of what civic engagement, democracy, and public service truly mean and that they too can change a community. Watching them learn the importance of being involved in their community has been one of the greatest blessings throughout this journey.

Additionally special thank you and shout out to KIPP Schools for graciously allowing me the opportunity to help train and speak with graduating seniors. These students brought fresh perspectives, new energy, and inspiring ideas. Most importantly, I hope they walked away understanding that the next generation holds more power than they realize, and their voices matter.

Thank you, God, for this incredible opportunity, for the lessons, the people, and the purpose behind it all. Now we move forward to November ready to work even harder. Because when one of us wins, we all win.

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Memorial Day 🇺🇸

As a community, we must never forget that the freedoms we enjoy today came at a cost paid by generations of service members and their families. Their courage, sacrifice, and love for this nation paved the way for all of us to continue building stronger communities and a better future.

Today is more than a long weekend. It is a day of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance.

May we continue to lead with unity, compassion, and service to others in honor of those who gave everything for our country.

Please take a moment today to remember our fallen heroes and the families who continue to carry their legacy. ❤️🤍💙

Today I had the opportunity to work with our young voters and teach them the importance of democracy, civic engagement, and using their voices to create change.

Congratulations to all of these incredible seniors. Many of them are first-generation students who are breaking barriers, overcoming challenges, and paving the way for future generations in their families. Their stories are powerful reminders that hard work, education, and perseverance can change the course of an entire family’s future.

These students spoke openly about their concerns, hopes, and commitment to Fort Bend County. They are not allowing fear, stereotypes, or cultural stigmas to stop them from pursuing college, leadership opportunities, and their dreams. They are breaking cycles and proving that young people, especially first-generation students, belong in every room where decisions are being made.

These young voters brought a breath of fresh air, new perspectives, and meaningful conversations to our local officials. The future is bright when our youth choose to stand up, get involved, and make their voices heard. 🗳️💙
