We’ll have an open and meaningful conversation about what our Hispanic community needs, the challenges our families face, and everything we bring to the table. Our community contributes culture, talent, hard work, leadership, and a strong commitment to the future.

As a Latina and someone who deeply values culture, representation, and community, I truly enjoyed learning more about the South Asian community and its continued growth in Fort Bend County. Thank you to South Asians Fort Bend for organizing such a meaningful and informative forum and highlighting the cultural, economic, and civic impact your community brings to our county. Thank you to Judge Sonia Rash Judge Juli Mathew Judge Surendran K. Pattel Campaign and State Rep Representative Dr. Suleman Lalani for all what you have done in our community.

Every culture, faith, and community deserves to be seen, heard, and represented. Instead of choosing a party side, we learn more when we support one another, that is what makes Fort Bend County special. 🇧🇩🇮🇳🇵🇰🇹🇲🇩🇿🇦🇿🇮🇷🇭🇺

I am truly grateful to the Pakistani Chamber of Commerce for inviting me to share my journey and for honoring me alongside such an inspiring group of women.

As women, we wear many hats. I am a mother, wife, entrepreneur, tax accountant, dance teacher, director, and community leader. Every challenge and sacrifice has shaped my journey and strengthened my purpose.

It was beautiful to see women from different cultures uplifting and celebrating one another. Our backgrounds may be different, but many of our struggles, sacrifices, hopes, and dreams are the same.

A special thank you to Sugar Land Mayor Carol McCutcheon for her leadership and inspiring words. Your message was a beautiful reminder of the importance of women supporting and encouraging one another.

What made the evening even more special was reconnecting with a former coworker from my hospitality days after 20 years! Back then, we were both young and just beginning our careers. It was amazing to see how much we have grown and how our career paths have evolved throughout the years.

When women uplift women, we all rise together. 💕

Yesterday had an opportunity to celebrate our beautiful culture at the Mariachi Festival! 🎺🎶 congrats to the board and Houston for brining the largest Mariachi festivals in the US. There’s nothing like the music, traditions, and energy of mariachi bringing our community together. So proud to attend and support an event that keeps our culture alive! 🇲🇽❤️

A special thank-you to Dr. Sergio Lira for always sharing your knowledge, wisdom, and passion for advocating for our community and LULAC Councils.

I pray that God continues giving me the wisdom and guidance to always have a servant heart for my community, and that God provides my community encouragement to stay informed, pay attention to what is happening around us, and continue standing up for our rights. Together, we are stronger!
