Politicians, mostly Democrats, talk a great deal about affordability and inflation. Republicans, not so much because policies they and their President implemented are part of what is causing inflation. I’ve heard little from either party about policies that have any chance of tamping down inflation much less lowering prices, other than ending Trump’s war of choice and tariffs.

Friends of the USA IBC board members put plans in motion for the "Moonlight Attitude" kickoff event October 22, launching USA IBC XIII. The day begins with a 2 p.m. press conference at Thalia Mara Hall, followed by free ballroom dance lessons at 6 p.m., then a night of dancing at the Old Capitol Inn.

Jackson Academy K2 students invited parents to the annual Popsicles with My Peeps event. Parents enjoyed seeing where all the learning takes place and experienced a campus-wide walk-through pep rally with their little ones. Enjoying the day were (from left) Brynia and RJ Austin.
