City of Madison:
PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE for the area described below.

There was a 12-inch water main break along Madison Avenue Sunday evening just prior to 9 pm. This caused low water pressure until the leak was isolated at 10:30.

Madison Water System customers affected include Crawford St, McLauren St, Cotton Hill, Adderly Gardens, Lake Castle, Castle Circle, N Castle Dr, St Catherines Village, Whittington, Fontanelle, Ashton Park, and Golden Pond. Businesses on Grandview Boulevard are similarly affected.

This PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER notice will be lifted once water samples clear the State lab sometime on Tuesday.

The Junior League of Jackson recently presented a $100,000 donation to the Foundation for Mississippi History to support the creation of Margaret Ann Crigler Park, a new public green space in downtown Jackson.
