For anyone looking for a great way to monitor and control internet use at home I have found a great device that works very well! It's called The Circle (https://meetcircle.com) It's easy to set up, it's easy to customize based on your children and their ages. It works! It's affordable as well. I was talking to another video store in the area about whether they offer the Digital Files of old home movies that they capture for people. They said they only offer them if the customer asks!
Totally not my philosophy! I try to educate as much as possible. So PLEASE, whether you have TechTime Video capture and preserve your family memories from old media, at least make them give you the digital files, (And it shouldn't cost extra!) If it costs extra then they aren't doing it with very high quality equipment. To capture home movies correctly and in the highest quality possible one would need to create the digital file first then put it on DVD. If they are putting it straight to DVD then they aren't giving you the very best quality that you deserve!
The digital file is extremely important, it's the true way of preserving those memories.
If you have any questions about this please don't hesitate to ask me, I don't just do this stuff for the money, I do it because I love preserving history! I love seeing the smiles when people see their video from years ago.

This video shows a film reel that I had a competitor capture, then I also captured it using our state of the art film capturing system and the results are definitely worth it. Don't settle for just any video editing company, especially when you're preserving your family memories that are so valuable!

We took a trip a couple of years ago as a family to the Olympic peninsula which took us several hours to drive (18ish). Normally I would bring along Disney movies and other hollywood movies to entertain my 9 children but this trip I did something different. I created a montage of video clips of my children and put them on DVDs to watch in the van. The response was great. They watched them over and over and over again and loved them each time. They laughed, giggled, and reminisced about the past fun they had had in their lives.
