A while back, I shared a song I had written. I usually don't post videos of me playing and singing, but for some reason, I did. I was amazed at the response- the emails, texts, DMs from people saying how it encouraged them. Some of those sweet people I hadn't heard from in YEARS. I decided to record and release the song, hoping it would lift spirits and be a reminder that no matter how sad you feel now, you will someday smile again. It doesn't mean everything will be okay or will ever be like it once was. The good news is that Jesus has experienced every kind of heartbreak, and only He really understands. He will meet us in our darkness and lead us to better days. He will help us find our smile again.

My favorite part of the song is the bridge. My daddy always had a way of making me smile when I was little. He would tap under my chin and say... "I see that smile...Here it comes, here it comes..." I couldn't help but smile. Just knowing he believed I would, I did. PS, I love my daddy! :-)

The song is available today, and I hope it encourages someone somewhere.
