When 400 Porsches take over the Ocean City Boardwalk, it’s not just a car show, it’s a reunion of passion, history, and family.

From vintage 914s to modern 911s, Porsches of all prices bring people together at the Porsche Boardwalk Reunion. What started as a local event has grown so popular that organizers say they’d welcome even more cars… if only there was space!

Here’s why it matters: behind the shine and horsepower lies a community of enthusiasts who see these cars as more than machines, they’re memories on wheels.

🍀 The Shore doesn’t need much of an excuse for a party, but every September Irish Weekend in North Wildwood proves it’s the biggest, boldest celebration of the year.

Think: bagpipes echoing down the parade route, shamrocks on every shirt, pints raised high, and stories that bartenders still tell years later. Behind the green shirts and Guinness pours, though, lies something deepera proud cultural tradition that has tied generations together.

This isn’t just a weekend of sloshing beers and dancing in the streets (though there’s plenty of that, too). It’s a reunion, a memory-maker, and the kind of Shore moment that lingers long after the last note of the bagpipes fades.

Monarch butterflies are in trouble, and Cape May is right in the flight path.

In the last two and a half decades, monarch populations have plummeted by over 80% due to habitat loss, pesticides, and climate change. Where we once saw thousands drifting through the peninsula, only a few hundred were recorded last September.

That’s why Cape May’s Monarch Festival matters more than ever. Each fall, our trees and skies light up with migrating monarchs on their way to Mexico. This celebration brings it all together:
· Live butterfly tagging with NJ Audubon’s Monarch Monitoring Project
· Hands-on activities with visiting educators from Mexico
· Sustainable art, pollinator garden tours, & butterfly-themed yoga
· A butterfly parade + Mexican food as a nod to the monarchs’ final destination

But here’s the bigger picture: protecting monarchs means protecting all pollinators and the ecosystems we rely on. Planting milkweed, cutting pesticide use, and appreciating these “royals of the Cape” keeps the magic alive for future generations.

📍 When & Where: Nature Center of Cape May
📅 Sunday, Sept 28 • 10 AM – 4 PM
💸 Admission: Free (suggested $5 donation)

Bring the kids, wear your wings, and don’t be afraid to come in costume. 🧡 This is conservation wrapped in celebration.

🍻 Ten years, 1,322 pumpkins, and countless steins later… Morey’s Piers Oktoberfest is bigger, bolder, and way more Bavarian.

From Okto the Octopus waving you in, to live oompah bands, bratwursts the size of your forearm, and beer straight from Germany...Mariner’s Pier transforms into a slice of Munich by the sea.

This isn’t just an event. It’s the fall tradition down the Shore.

Scarecrow decorating isn’t just for front lawns in Sea Isle, it’s a full-on competition. Every fall, local businesses turn their storefronts into a scarecrow showcase, and the whole town votes for their favorite.

Think haunted hayride meets treasure hunt, but with bragging rights on the line.
