Sunday, September 14th it's Bob Bandy's 90th birthday! We'll be celebrating at Mastricola's on Broadway in Berlin.

Monday, September 15th it's AM 1600s 68th year ON THE AIR! I'll have a special surprise as well.

Tuesday, September 16th I'll be celebrating my 300th radio show on The Wave! Bob Bandy (the first DJ of AM 1600 from 1957) will be joining me along with Mark Mathews (a 1970s DJ from the same station) and my honey Brooklyn as well! I have some tricks up my sleeve for this great show and we'll be playing ALL 45s records for 3 hours! Tune in! 93.1 FM & AM 1600 The Wave WRPN or WRPN.fm

I just want to say THANK YOU to ALL who have helped with sharing links to finding a place and or thoughts and prayers. I can't tell you how it feels to have your world come crashing down all at once, right before cold months with no place to go and barely any money with no real plan of action, scrambling your way through the dark to try and find light. I thank my great GOD for peace, patience and HOPE. We WILL rise above again.

Sorry for the late post about the show. Yesterday, we played a new radio contest called, "Secret Sound" for a chance to win free Culver's food. We had a lot of good guesses, but the secret sound was the sound of someone throwing a brick into a running washing machine.
