The Psalms have several references to praising the Lord on an "instrument of ten strings"... this is usually understood to be a lyre, and we see these are still available 30 centuries later with several different configurations of strings, including 10.
Not owning one of those, we made our own instrument of ten strings by removing the low E strings from one of our 12-string guitars! :)
(There was a practical reason for this... in our latest song, we recorded a strummed C chord at the beginning of each verse - Pete Townshend style! Taking off the low E strings allowed this chord to be hit really hard without worrying about starting on the 5th strings!)
We praised the Lord on this instrument of ten strings!

What's on our mind?
FACEBOOK NOT WORKING, that's what.
Just deleted a post we made for the new song we released late last year, because the post became useless... it had an image serving as the link to the song's Youtube lyric video, and that link stopped working at some point. This has been true for several posts... evidently can't use images as links anymore!
(Yes we sent in problem reports, & finally stopped holding our breath!)

The Supreme Court has made the decision that A.I. creations cannot be copyrighted. Personally, we feel this is good for those of us that create songs the tried-and-true way (sometimes struggling to get the structure or the rhymes just right). Here's an entertainment lawyer's take on the decision:

Lots of folks seemed psyched about using AI to generate music, & while we can see the attraction, it's maybe a little too far removed from the creative aspect of songwriting & song creation, yes?
We are aware that we should tread lightly here, because for many of the songs we have published, we have used programmed drums... and yes, we personally do the programming (they aren't just off-the-shelf beats), but it's still a convenient shortcut.
For our next release, we used a real drummer, and it was refreshing!
