Thank you, Sir Paul, for asking the British Government to respect the rights of music creators in their updating of copyright law.
This will certainly affect changes to copyright law in other countries, acting as a blueprint of sorts, so it's critical they get this right!
IMO, the burden of permission shouldn't be placed on us having to Opt-Out of allowing our creations to be used for training AI... the trainers of AI should have to ask us to Opt-In if they want to use our creations for that purpose.
The Beatle calls on the government to reconsider proposed changes to copyright law.
